Mörel-Ulrichen
This project was submitted to the Federal Office of Energy (FOE) in the autumn of 2010. The FOE then granted Alpiq the permit to build this line on 30 June 2011 as an overhead line project, entailing the construction of 86 pylons along a 29-kilometer section between Mörel and Ulrichen. This will enable four existing lines to be combined and more than 300 pylons (metal, concrete and wood pylons) to be dismantled along the entire section. The total cost of this project amounts to CHF 90 million.
