Our 380-kV line projects
To date there are two connections required to close the gap in Switzerland's strategic ultra-high voltage grid: the sections between Yverdon (VD) and Galmiz (FR) and between Chamoson and Ulrichen (VS). At Berne's request, these projects were broken down into two and three projects respectively, and will therefore be submitted individually to the federal process for granting construction permits.
In the interests of energy security, it is now essential to connect the 380-kV grid in the Valais and French-speaking Switzerland to the Swiss national grid.
