Ryburg-Schwörstadt run-of-river power station
The low-pressure run-of-river power station is located on the River Rhine below Stein-Säckingen. The four Kaplan turbines, each with a capacity of 30 MW, represented a pioneering achievement when first commissioned back in 1931. Switzerland's share of this border power station is 50 percent.
