Small hydroelectric power station of Weinfelden AG
The three small hydroelectric power stations in the Swiss canton of Thurgau together generate an annual output of 9 gigawatt hours of electricity. The Model and Mühle power stations were put into operation on the river Thur in 1942 and 1950 respectively. The Widen power station has been generating hydroelectric power since 1989.
