Reorganisation at Atel Installationstechnik AG

With effect from 1 July 2006, the Atel Installationstechnik Group (AIT) is bringing all its building-services activities in western Switzerland together in a new company: Atel TB Romandie SA.

Switzerland’s leading installation equipment group is reorganising its activities in western Switzerland with effect from 1 July 2006. In organisational terms Atel Installationstechnik AG is bringing together Atel Bornet SA in Vernier, the branch of Luwa Suisse SA in Crissier and the branches of Atel TB Ouest SA in Lausanne and Fribourg. The new company Atel TB Romandie SA, based in Geneva, will have a workforce of more than 200, including 31 trainees. Roland Martin, 52, has been appointed its Chief Executive Officer. Atel TB Romandie SA will provide a full range of building services under one roof, supporting customers on all aspects of electrical installations, telecommunication and information technologies, security and automation systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitation. 

Atel Bornet SA has belonged to the AIT Group since 2000. Ventilation and air-conditioning specialist Luwa Suisse SA joined it only at the beginning of 2006.
